Modi speech: Here is a list of all schemes announced by the PM 1) For the poor:  Two new schemes under PM Awaas Yojna. BHIM APP launched by PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi launches UPI based mobile payment app called BHIM  NEW DELHI: Urging people to make digital payments a "habit" to make the country a cashless economy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a mobile app for the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). The application, which will be common across all banks and financial institutions, is called BHIM (Bharat Interface for Mobile).  In  his 40-minute speech at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi during the inauguration of the DigiDhan Mela, Modi time and again evoked Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar -- father of the Indian Constitution - and drew parallels between his contribution towards the upliftment of the downtrodden and the idea behind the BHIM mobile app  "Right now, business happens by the way of [currency] notes and coins. Mayawati deposit 104 Crore

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Tuesday asserted that the Rs. 100 crore detected by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in her party’s account was entirely accounted for and deposited following due procedures. Addressing a press conference here, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said: “The money belongs to the party, which has been deposited following due procedures. The entire money is accounted for.” Ms. Mayawati accused the BJP of using the state machinery to malign the BSP ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ms. Mayawati demanded that he should make public the deposits made by the BJP during the 10 months prior to the November 8 demonetisation announcement. The ED on Monday detected cash deposits totalling over Rs 104 crore in an account belonging to the BSP.
